SANS 1366
Designed primarily for underground mining applications. Due to the belt’s smooth and low abrasive PVC cover, maintenance and belt cleaning is simple and easy. This belt comes with, Fire Retardant and Anti-Static covers.
SANS 971 : 2003
A unique factor for this conveyor belt is the number of fabric ply in the carcass have a direct co-relation to the belt’s overall strength. Grade N, M, S and Z, Heat resistant, Fire Retardant and Oil resistant are all offerings for our Plied Belting line.
SANS 1173 : 2013
Hot and Cold Splicing
Together with our high-quality Conveyor Belts comes an equally qualified team of splicers to make sure your belt was running like the day it was first installed. Our supplier in question has been in operation since 2008.
This highly qualified team can do a multitude of splices of a multitude of different conveyor belts, including:
- Conveyor belt splicing
- Steel cord belt splicing
- Textile belt splicing
- PVC belt splicing
Additionally, all splices completed, be it hot or cold, will be completed to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Conveyor Idlers
Idlers sourced by Crusader Systems are rest assured to be the best in class. Each Idler contains state of the art bearing house that have been patented by our suppliers. Each Bearing housing is made from high density polyethylene which elevates the negative characteristics of steel-based bearing housings.
Flame Retardant rollers are also part of the range. Only the best bearing brands are used in the Idler’s such as SKF or FAG. The bearing and sealing housing can absorb the impact imposed by uneven loads and belt speed. Additionally, Energy efficient bearings also ensure low power demand for conveyors.
Types of Idlers
Standard: Includes all advantages from supplier’s design.
Anti-Static: Comprises of a copper strip inside the roller which connects the outer shell to the shaft. This intern causes static electricity to be earthed inside the roller.
Anti-Runback: Ideally applied to incline belts – prevents the belt from running back in the case of a snap along the belting line. Comes with unique braking system to make this possible.
Anti-Seize: A side flinger within the Idler remains static while the roller is running. This Protects the sealing arrangement against any cases spillage.
Steel Idlers
Our Steel Idlers are best suited for Iron Ore, Hard Rock, Gold Mining, Bauxite and all other extreme, moist and dusty environmental applications.
The Concentricity tolerance’s (TIR) maximum is 0.4mm.
The Steel Idlers come in three types: Standard, Anti-Static, Anti-Runback.
Grade: SANS657-2:2005
The Lighter weight means a significant reduction in energy or start-up costs on conveyor drives.
HDPE Idlers
Our HDPE Idlers are ideally suited for Iron Ore, Hard Rock, Gold Mining, Bauxite and all other extreme, moist and dusty environmental applications.
This type of roller has a concentricity tolerance (TIR) or 0,2mm.
The HDPE Idlers come in three types: Standard, Anti-Seize, Anti-Runback. 40% lighter than steel, resistant to wear and abrasion and does not damage the belt due to decreased friction imposed on the belt itself.
Polylite HDPE Idlers
This Particular Idler is suited for Medium to light duty applications in extreme dusty and moist environments. This rollers has a concentricity tolerance (TIR) of 0,2mm.
The Polylite HDPE Idlers come in three types: Standard, Anti-Seize, Anti-Runback.
60% lighter than steel means significant reduction in energy or start-up costs on conveyor drives. The roller operates best in extreme environments where moisture and chemical attack are present.
Impact and Rubber Disk Return Idlers
Our Impact and RDR Idlers are ideally suited for Iron Ore, Hard Rock, Gold Mining, Bauxite and all other extreme, moist and dusty environmental applications.
Designed to absorb large loads of ore falling on conveyor belts.
Roller body is exceptionally durable making it resistant to wear and abrasion. This means they can operate in extreme conditions like costal and corrosive chemical environments. Protects the Idler and your Conveyor system.
Conveyor Frames
Our Idler and Steering frames as is the same for our Idlers are assured to be best in class.

Angled and Tubular Troughing Frame
Designed and tested to operate in medium duty applications.
A tubular frame provides greater strength structurally than an Angle Iron frame.
4mm steel is used as standard.
All components are laser cut, making for precision high quality products even on a larger scale.
Roller mountings are fitted 6mm below the top of the tubular frame , preventing belt damage by the Idler brackets if the brackets were to get dislodged.
Available in: 2 Roll, 3 Roll (20⁰-45⁰) and 5 Roll.
Angled and Tubular V-Return Frame
Designed and tested to operate in medium duty applications.
A tubular frame provides greater strength structurally than an Angle Iron frame.
4mm steel is used as standard.
All components are laser cut, making for precision high quality products even on a larger scale. Roller mountings are fitted 6mm below the top of the tubular frame , preventing belt damage by the Idler brackets if the brackets were to get dislodged.
Available in: Angle Iron Frame (2, 3, 5-roll); Tubular V-return Frame and Adjustable Tubular Troughing Frame (20⁰-40⁰)
Multisteer Steering Frames
Designed and tested to operate in the hostile environments of the mining industry.
These Multisteer Steering Frames extend the longevity of Conveyor Belts and minimize Idler damage.
Made from the highest quality mild steel tubing. Conveyor belt steering systems are available in all standard conveyor sizes in accordance with SANS 1313- 1:2012. The frames additionally use multiple pivoting mechanisms which are sensitive and reactive to weight distribution, ensuring even distribution of weight.
Available in: 20 & 35 Deg. Trough 3 Roll, 10 Deg. VEE Return, 20 & 35 Deg. Trough 5 Roll.
Solid Plate Fasteners
Gone away with are Old, Conventional and Dangerous bolt retaining clips on the bottom plate.
New Square Shank bolts that are fixed to the bottom plates have been fitted. This patented feature adds to the overall safety of the product. All Fasteners as standard come with 8.8 Hi-Tensile bolts and nuts.
The High Tensile strength of the nuts and bolts directly co-relate to ‘High Torque Ability’, which in turn provides a better joint onto the belt. Finishes on the Fasteners are smooth to the touch and edges which would’ve been sharp have been rounded off to prevent injury on installation.
Lastly, both top and bottom plates are chamfered to ensure a friendly relationship between scrapers and Fasteners.

Maglite Retrofitting

HOSCH© Scrapers
HOSCH Scrapers are German designed and engineered scrapers that are the finest of quality and are a great addition along any conveyor line. They additionally, can be sourced in a short space of time due to location of the supplier and us knowing yet another one of our suppliers on a personal level.
We currently are supplying two type of HOSCH scrapers. A main cleaner and a Pre cleaner. Please also note that although HOSCH scrapers come in a standard design, the shape of the scraper blades, module design, dimensions and material used may be customized to suit specific operating conditions.
HOSCH PRE-SCRAPER Type B9S
This is the recommended Pre-scraper for removing any materials adhering to the belts surface, this will happen on the return side of the belt. Blades, made from Polyurethane, are inclined against the direction the belt is being intended to travel in. This ensures the best possible clean with minimal wear and tear to the belts surface. Some features of the B9S include:

HOSCH MAIN SCRAPER Type B6
The patented Sprung blade scraper has been able to solve belt cleaning problems in all types of bulk material handling. Its own unique design also helps in this respect. Blades inclined against the direction of belt travel, scrape off any dirt layer efficiently while exerting exceptionally low contact pressure on the belt.
